Propuesta y aplicación de una función de pronóstico para pacientes con hemorragia intracerebral espontánea
Abstract
Se realizó una investigación con el objetivo de aplicar una función discriminante de pronóstico para pacientes con hemorragia intracerebral espontánea, la misma se obtuvo a partir del análisis morfométrico de imágenes tomográficas, con el empleo del programa MADIP y la posterior aplicación del análisis discriminante. La función fue aplicada en 25 nuevos pacientes, los cuales no fueron estudiados para la obtención de la misma. Predominó el sexo masculino y las edades de 61 a 75 años, la hipertensión arterial constituyo el antecedente patológico predominante en el 84% de los pacientes, solamente cuatro para un 16% recibieron algún proceder quirúrgico y el resultado de la función discriminante de pronóstico se correspondió con la evolución de los mismos en el 96% de los casos. Se concluye que el nuevo método de pronóstico propuesto para enfermos con hemorragia intracerebral espontánea puede tenerse en cuenta en la práctica médica como una nueva herramienta a la hora de establecer el pronóstico de estos pacientes.Downloads
