Factores de riesgo asociados al hallux valgus
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional analítico, para determinar los factores de riesgo asociados al hallux valgus en el Consultorio Médico No. 11 de Marroquí, municipio Florencia. La muestra estuvo conformada por 375 personas entre 30 y 79, que no presentaron enfermedad psiquiátrica y tuvieron disposición a participar, a las cuales se les aplicó una encuesta y una guía de observación, para determinar el comportamiento en expuestos y no expuestos, a través de la prueba estadística de 2, y el grado de asociación a través del ODDS RATIO y sus límites de confianza. Se encontró una prevalencia media de hallux valgus. Tuvo más probabilidad de padecer esta deformidad el sexo femenino y los mayores de 50 años. Respecto a los antecedentes patológicos personales de enfermedades del pie, se demostró que tienen más probabilidad de presentarla aquellas personas con antecedentes de pie plano y metatarso primo varo; en los antecedentes patológicos personales de otras enfermedades se encontró una fuerte asociación causal para la artritis reumatoidea. Se halló más probabilidad de desarrollarlo para aquellas personas con antecedentes patológicos familiares.
