Algunas variables morfométricas de imágenes tomográficas de pacientes fallecidos con hemorragias intracerebrales
Abstract
Se realizó una investigación descriptiva con el objetivo de determinar el comportamiento de algunas variables morfométricas en imágenes tomográficas de pacientes fallecidos con hemorragias intracerebrales espontáneas. Estas variables son: volumen de la lesión, factor de forma elíptico de la lesión y factor de forma circular de la misma. Para el análisis de las imágenes se utilizó el programa cubano MADIP versión 4.0 del 2005; los datos fueron recolectados e introducidos en una base de datos y procesados estadísticamente con el utilitario estadístico SPSS versión 11.5. Entre los principales resultados se obseva que predominó el sexo masculino y los grupos de edades de entre 60 y 69 años. El 64,72% de los pacientes presentó un volumen de la hemorragia intracerebral superior a los 30 cm3. La totalidad de los pacientes presentó el factor de forma elíptico por debajo de 0,6; esto permite plantear que las imágenes tomográficas de esta afección tienen una forma elíptica o alargada. Se llegó a la conclusión de que cuanto mayor sea el volumen de la hemorragia y mas elíptica sea su forma, peor será el pronóstico del pacienteDownloads
