Cinco dientes supernumerarios retenidos. Presentación de un caso
Abstract
Los dientes supernumerarios se refieren a una condición caracterizada por la presencia de un número de dientes superior al normal en los maxilares. El diagnóstico y tratamiento de estas piezas se hace necesario para evitar complicaciones posteriores que pudieran alterar el arco dental. Se presenta el caso de un paciente masculino de 18 años que acude a consulta de cirugía máxilo facial por presentar Síndrome Doloroso Facial, sin causa aparente, al que se le diagnostican 5 dientes supernumerarios retenidos. Se realiza exéresis de los mismos. La evolución es satisfactoria.Downloads
