Abstract

Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo fundamental de brindar una información actualizada, así como identificar los factores de riesgo de muerte súbita, precisar los síntomas premonitorios que constituyen la expresión de una descompensación aguda del corazón y analizar las causas de muerte súbita como expresión de complicaciones en las enfermedades asociadas. Todos los datos obtenidos se compararon con la literatura nacional e internacional actualizada lo que permitió llegar a las conclusiones
