Morbilidad Oftalmológica en escuela para niños ciegos y débiles visuales de Ciego de Ávila
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional-descriptico, se revisaron las historias clínicas de niños matriculados en la escuela para niños ciegos y débiles visuales de Ciego de Ávila en el mes de marzo del 2010. La muestra estuvo conformada por 84 niños. Se estudiaron variables como edad, sexo, diagnóstico oftalmológico, si tienen criterios de baja visión y tipo de tratamiento recibido. El mayor número de pacientes correspondieron al sexo masculino, la edad más representada es la de 10 años, la miopía es la oftalmopatía más diagnosticada, la mayoría no cumplen con los criterios de la baja visión y la mayoría reciben tratamiento ópticoDownloads
