Pesquisaje de patologías bucales en pacientes con uveitis

Abstract

Se presenta un estudio observacional descriptivo en treinta pacientes con diagnóstico de uveitis atendidos en el servicio de Periodoncia de la clínica estomatológica centro del municipio Ciego de Avila, con el objetivo de describir el comportamiento de la sepsis oral, la frecuencia de dientes afectados y la evolución de los síntomas y signos durante controles realizados a los 7, 14 y 21 días, se observó en estos pacientes que la caries y el granuloma periapical fueron las afecciones estomatológicas mas frecuentes, siendo el maxilar superior y los dientes premolares los mas afectados. Los síntomas y signos clínicos de la uveitis mejoraron en el curso de los 7, 14 y 21 días respectivamente no encontrándose recidivas de las afecciones.
