Pemphigus vegetans. Presentation of a case
Abstract
A case ofp emphigus vegetans is presented which is little frequent; it emphasizes the importance
to differentiate the variants, Hallopeau a nd Neuman n, by the prognosticate and therapeutic
implications that this entail. This presented case is Neumann subtype , diagnosed by the clinic,
crusted lesions with positive Nikolsky sign and pathology characteristic of this disease . This patient
was treated combi ning steroids with a zathioprine . It was reached the r eferral four months of
staying in room and her monitoring by outpatient clinics it allows to affirm her satisfactory
evolution.
