Tumor gigantocelular de oído medio. A propósito de un caso
Abstract
En nuestro trabajo presentamos un raro caso de tumor gigantocelular de oído medio como prolongación de un tumor de fosa cerebral media. Es infrecuente el reporte de este tipo de patología.
Nuestro caso debutó con hipoacusia y la aparición de una pequeña tumoración que decolaba la piel de la pared superior del conducto auditivo externo derecho como único síntoma.
Realizamos un estudio descriptivo de nuestro caso comparándolo con la escasa literatura mundial al respecto.
Al paciente le fue practicada una antroaticotomía derecha por técnica abierta con exéresis de la totalidad del tumor que ocupaba el oído medio y parte del externo, en su masa incluía los huesecillos del oído. En el transoperatorio nos percatamos de la extensión de la tumoración hacia el endocraneo por lo que remitimos el caso al Servicio de Neurocirugía del Hospital CIMEX de Ciudad Habana. La evolución posoperatoria del oído fue satisfactoria, no apareciendo recidiva de la tumoración a este nivelDownloads
