Abstract

In recent decades, the world has undergone demographic and epidemiological changes that have caused an increase in noncommunicable diseases. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is one of them. For this reason, it is identified as a global public health problem and the annual celebration of World Kidney Day began in 2006.
