Website for teaching the subject Health Information Quality of the Health Information Systems Career
Abstract
The health information systems of Cuba are served from scientific-technological advances and require a professional training to ensure the highest professional performance. This professional career has the responsibility to fulfil requirements of the educational process, although sometimes the objective and subjective conditions not conducive. This is the case of the Medical Sciences University of Ciego de Ávila, where there has been no stability in teachers of the subject of Health Information Quality in addition to not having the printed text, which makes a direct effect on the teaching-learning process. This research aims to design the website for the subject mentioned before, composed of several sources of information and serve as a material support of blended learning teaching process. With the use of quantitative methods of theoretical, empirical and statistical levels, the subject teaching situation is determined; it is designed and evaluated its implementation through expert judgment to prove it has a practical utility that favors teacher performance and student learning.Downloads
