Intervención educativa sobre conocimientos del diagnóstico baciloscópico de la tuberculosis en técnicos de laboratorio de la atención primaria

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio pre-experimental (antes-después) para evaluar una Intervención educativa sobre el conocimiento del diagnóstico baciloscópico de la tuberculosis en los técnicos de laboratorio de la Atención Primaria de Salud del municipio Morón en la provincia Ciego de Ávila durante el período de septiembre del 2008 hasta Abril del 2009. El universo de trabajo estuvo constituido por 46 personas que representan el total técnicos de laboratorio de la Atención Primaria de Salud del municipio y que cumplen los criterios de inclusión. Los técnicos obtienen conocimientos altos sobre: la recolección, transporte y conservación de la muestra y sobre la extensión de la muestra en un 91.30% respectivamente, en cuanto a la coloración de la lámina un 95.65%, atendiendo al diagnóstico de la lámina elevan sus conocimientos el 86.95%; en general adquirieron conocimientos sobre el diagnóstico baciloscópico de la tuberculosis entre alto y medio con el 78.26% y 19.26% respectivamente después de la intervención educativa, para un 95% de confiabilidad de prueba de hipótesis. Para evaluar el nivel de conocimientos y la efectividad de la intervención se utilizó el Test de comparación de medias para ambos momentos (antes y después) con un nivel de significación de ά= 0.05
