Conocimiento sobre percepción del riesgo del VIH/SIDA en adultos jóvenes de la enseñanza superior del municipio Morón
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio cuasi-experimental (antes-después) de intervención educativa para determinar el nivel de conocimientos sobre percepción del riesgo en la infección por el VIH/SIDA en adultos jóvenes de la enseñanza superior del Municipio Morón durante el período de septiembre del 2006 hasta septiembre 2007. El universo de estudio está representado por 416 estudiantes. Después de la intervención se obtuvo que el 100% adquirió conocimientos satisfactorios en cuanto a la forma de infestarse; el 98.8% fue satisfactorio para el momento en que puede realizarse la prueba del VIH después del contacto sexual riesgoso; el 99.5% adquirió conocimientos satisfactorios en cuanto a formas más comunes de prevención; en cuanto al comportamiento para protegerse de la infección por VIH, el 94.5% fue evaluado de satisfactorio; el 99.5% de los capacitados adquirieron conocimientos satisfactorios sobre la responsabilidad del uso del condón. En cuanto a la evaluación general del nivel de conocimiento, el 70.4% obtuvo calificación de “alto” y 27.9% de “medio”.
