Abstract

Three echocardiographic images of cardiac myxomas are presented. Panel A shows a large myxoma, with mobility, friable and without calcifications, with greater left ventricular stay. It was diagnosed in a 53-year-old man with chest pain, dyspnea on exertion, palpitations, hypertension and left hemiparesis, sequela of a cerebral infarction. Physical examination revealed a long mitral diastolic murmur.
