Criterios populares sobre las enfermedades diarreicas del niño
Abstract
Explorar los criterios que tiene la población sobre las enfermedades diarreicas en el niño nos motivó a realizar este trabajo, para ello se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo donde interrogamos en un cuestionario una serie de criterios emitidos por los padres de los niños atendidos en el cuerpo de guardia de Pediatría durante una semana de trabajo, donde el 88,5% de los encuestados considera que su niño tiene diarreas si las deposiciones son líquidas, el 65,2% refiere no emplear remedios caseros en el tratamiento de las diarreas, el 60,6% de las madres opinó que la leche no agrava la diarrea, entre las bebidas mayormente ofrecidas están el agua 100% y las sales de rehidratación oral 94,3%, la mayoría de los familiares se muestran satisfechas si se les indica antibióticos terapia 74,7% y se muestran notablemente insatisfechos cuando se les indica terapia de rehidratación oral y orientaciones higiénico dietéticas 22,0%.Downloads
