Copyrights
Authors will retain their authorship rights and will guarantee the journal the right of first publication of their work.
From volume 25 of 2019 to volume 30 of 2024, Mediciego explicitly adhered to Open Science under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC) license. In volume 31 of 2025, we modified the license to Creative Commons Attribution 4.0/International Deed. This license allows others to distribute, adapt, remix, and develop your work, even commercially, as long as they give you credit for the original creation. Therefore, in the summaries from 2019 to 2024, you can see two licenses, but in each version of the manuscript, you can find the license corresponding to the stage.
The authors authorize the publication of their writings; they retain the rights of authorship, and assign to the magazine all the rights protected by the Copyright Law that governs in Cuba, and implies the edition to disseminate the work.
They may also establish additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in the journal (for example, placing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with the recognition of having been first published in this journal.
