Abstract

Increasingly, ethical problems concerning the authors' behavior are more frequent: from attempts to publish articles already published in other journals or websites (rather than ignorance), to possible fraud. It is alarming that, in addition to these behaviors that violate ethics, there are others that are uniquely linked to the authorship of articles, specifically unjustified and undue authorships. Both are incorrect behaviors in the communication of scientific results, with serious ethical implications, and undermine the quality of scientific publication, the prestige of the journal, and the integrity and credibility of science.
