Post-COVID-19 convalescence and thromboembolic disease

The letter to the editor “Post-COVID-19 Convalescence”, published in volume 28 (2022), is considered very timely and accurate; expressing that patients recovered from COVID-19 suffer from multiple symptoms that are sequelae of the disease. Thromboembolisms – studied by the specialty of angiology and vascular surgery – are the most frequent, and cause deaths.
