The SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic has not only been an epidemic resulting from an infectious disease. It has been a global event that has changed interpersonal relationships, the family, society, the economy, culture, ways of working, and the environment. As a result, new challenges and responsibilities are being generated for health professionals in order to achieve the cultural and health transformation that society has mandated.
