"La universidad dinámica o preactiva". Tendencia de la educación superior en el nuevo milenio
Abstract
En los albores del siglo XXI, la Universidad se enfrenta al reto de sobrevivir al embate de las políticas neoliberales y las tendencias globalizadoras que rápidamente se establecen a lo largo del planeta. Como respuesta a esta apremiante situación, surge una nueva visión y una nueva misión para la educación superior, "la Universidad Dinámica o Proactiva". Con esta nueva concepción de la Educación Superior, se aspira a que el educando logre: "aprender a conocer, aprender a hacer, aprender a vivir juntos y aprender a ser", como parte de una comunidad comprometida en la búsqueda de la verdad, la defensa y el fomento de la justicia social y el medio ambiente, hasta alcanzar un proceso humano de desarrollo sostenible.
