Absceso cerebral como complicación de una otitis media. A propósito de un caso
Abstract
Se deben extremar las medidas en cuanto a la terapéutica y seguimiento de pacientes con enfermedades agudas y crónicas del oído medio pues los signos pueden consistir en una recidiva del proceso supurativo después de la respuesta inicial al tratamiento médico, la aparición de un tímpano rojizo, cefalea pertinaz, somnolencia, irritabilidad, nauseas y vómitos indican la propagación del proceso al endocráneo. Se presenta un caso de Absceso cerebral como complicación de una Otitis media, se revisa la terapéutica medica y quirúrgica. Se comentan los complementarios y la evolución del caso.
