Accidentes en edad pediátrica. Consejo popular Peonía del municipio Ciro Redondo

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio en 63 pacientes menores de 14 años que sufrieron algún tipo de accidente en el Consejo Popular Peonía del municipio Ciro Redondo durante el año 2000. El 46.0% de los accidentes ocurrieron en la edad de los 10-14 años, predominado el sexo masculino con el 66.7%. El accidente que predominó en nuestro trabajo fueron las caídas, seguido de las heridas y golpeados. Sólo 8 pacientes quedaron con secuelas.
