Atención al politraumatizado en la sala de reanimación del Hospital Central de Cabinda. Enero-diciembre de 2002
Abstract
Se realiza el estudio del 100% de los pacientes considerados como politraumatizados y que ingresaron en la sala de reanimación del hospital central de Cabinda, la provincia más al norte de la República de Angola, durante el año 2001. El total de pacientes fue de 42, la mayoría de ellos correspondió al sexo masculino, entre las edades de 15 y 40 años. Después de su recuperación fueron transferidos para los servicios quirúrgicos siendo el Servicio de Cirugía General el que más recibió pacientes. La relación con el traumatismo craneoencefálico resultó ser la mayor parte de los fallecidos y se señala la importancia de la evaluación en colectivo de los pacientes para una mejor evolución de estos.
