Abstract

Realizó una revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema, con el objetivo de buscar evidencias de cómo los avances tecnológicos aplicados de forma irracional pueden ocasionar alteraciones al medioambiente que repercuten en la salud humana. Se analizó el comportamiento del problema a nivel mundial y en nuestro país.Como resultado obtenemos que el desarrollo de las tecnologías de base científica no es la única causa de la alteración del medio ambiente, y que se encuentran en gran medida, en la falta de conciencia pública y política, por regulaciones ineficientes y por una falta de conocimientos e información, las preocupaciones ambientales de cada zona son diferentes, dependen de su estado económico, de la prevalencia de la pobreza y del acceso desigual a los servicios. Conclusión: la humanidad debe tomar conciencia de que los recursos naturales son finitos, es decir agotables, y que la relación entre los hombres dependerá de que se alcancen nuevas formas de armonización con la naturaleza, así como de los actuales patrones de consumo.
