Training strategy to raise the knowledge level on hemorrhagic conjunctivitis to health professionals of the south area, Moron
Abstract
A pre-experimental study of Educational intervention type was carried out to raise theknowledge level on hemorrhagic conjunctivitis of the primary health care doctors of the South University Polyclinic of Moron during January - April, 2010 through an educational program designed for this intention. The study universe was constituted by 46 specialists. The sample was composed of 63.04% of doctors(n=29). The compilation method of the information was the survey. The investigation was implemented in three essential stages: diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. The results appear in stage for its analysis, using as summary number and percent. The knowledge level of doctors before the intervention was in a low level in almost all the topics referred to the hemorrhagic conjunctivitis. After the intervention the low knowledge level category was eliminated and all the participants were in the average category, followed by the high level of knowledge.It concludes that the designed program was useful for the created intention and it proposes its employment to keep on implementing this so important knowledge in case of epidemic.
