Abstract
Con esta revisión bibliográfica nos proponemos profundizar en las funciones generales de la EPO-Hr sobre nuestro organismo, partiendo de la caracterización y actualización de sus más variadas funciones. Tomando como punto de partida la producción, los mecanismos actuales de su regulación y su efecto terapéutico en las enfermedades crónicas como: la Insuficiencia Renal Crónica, las Anemias severas del paciente canceroso, sidoso y como influye el efecto estimulador sobre los progenitores Eritroides en la mejoría de la calidad de vida de estos pacientes.
