Utilidad de la medicina natural y tradicional en la bursitis de hombro. Bolivia 2001/ 2002.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo, retrospectivo con el objetivo de demostrar la utilidad del tratamiento con Medicina natural y Tradicional en la Bursitis de Hombro, en el centro de referencia del Hospital " Rafael Pérez González" del Municipio Bolivia, en el periodo del 3 de enero del 2001 al 31 de enero del 2002. El universo de trabajo fue de 70 pacientes que acudieron a dicho centro remitidos de sus consultorios aplicando acupuntura en los puntos Ig 4, Vb 21, Tf 14, Ig 11, Id 9 y puntos de ah-shi, con electroestímulo en los puntos Ig 4, Id 9, durante 20 min. 10 sesiones. Además se les aplico tratamiento con fitofármacos: Caña santa crema 2 veces al día (uso tópico) y la caléndula 20 gotas 3 veces al día (vía oral). La mayor parte del 90 % de estas modalidades de tratamiento y sus técnicas fueron aplicadas por el personal de enfermería y se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: El sexo que predomino fue el femenino con un 58,6% , el grupo de edad más frecuente que padeció de la enfermedad fue de 40 a 49 años con un 42,8% , el cese del dolor ocurrió con más frecuencia entre la quinta y la novena sesión de tratamiento con 61,4% y el costo del tratamiento aplicado en 10 día por cada un paciente fue $ 1. 85.
