Evaluación de la competencia clínica de los internos en ginecobstetricia.

Abstract

Se analizan los resultados de las evaluaciones del examen teóricopráctico  y finales en la asignatura de Ginecobstetricia. La muestra comprende las 62 evaluaciones del mismo número de estudiantes, durante la rotación de cuarto y sexto año de la carrera, durante el curso 1997-98. Los principales resultados fueron: predominio de evaluaciones de Excelente y Bien en los exámenes prácticos y teórico prácticos. Las evaluaciones de Excelente fueron más frecuentes en el examen teórico práctico, pues con el examen teórico (Bloque E) incrementó en un 11,3% las evaluaciones de Excelente. Se invirtió los resultados en las evaluaciones de 4 y 5  en sexto año, con relación a la rotación del cuarto año los resultados del examen práctico y teórico práctico no fueron determinante en la evaluación final. La evaluación de Regular solo se constató en el examen teórico con 3 evaluaciones. Las principales dificultades encontradas fueron en los bloques E, D, B y C. Los temas con mayores dificultades encontradas fueron: dismenorrea, sepsis urinaria e hipertensión arterial gestacional, entre otras.
