Abstract

An investigation about Angel del Castillo Agramonte biograph, dentist that incorporated to the 1868 war quitted his profession with the aim of knowing anecdotes of his life and the great heroism in battles developed in Camagüey and Ciego de Avila provinces. Bibliographical and documentary sources about this issue were used. He was one of the first conspirators for cuban independence, he was a man of great abnegation and character. He was outstanding in all combative actions in which he participated thus he obtained the Brigade General rank. Rank that he maintained whwn he died.
