Comportamiento de la enfermedad cerebrovascular en la unidad de cuidados intensivos emergentes
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo para conocer el comportamiento de algunas variables relacionadas con la Enfermedad Cerebro – Vascular en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Emergentes del hospital de Ciego de Ávila, en el período de Enero a Junio de 2005.Las variables incluyen morbimortalidad, proporción de ingresos, tipo de traslado, estadía en sala y destino final.El 30, 2 por ciento de los ingresos por ECV entraron por la UCIE y representan el 3,9 por ciento de los casos vistos en esa sala. La mayor incidencia correspondió a las trombosis cerebrales y la mortalidad fue de 2,1 por ciento; el 54,3 se trasladaron en AVA. El promedio de estadía en sala fue de 3,30 horas.
