Resistencia bacteriana en cepas intrahospitalarias, un nuevo reto a enfrentar.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo retrospectivo de cepas bacterianas intrahospitalarias recibidas en le laboratorio de Microbiología, provenientes de servicios cerrados del Hospital General Docente “Dr. Antonio Luaces Iraola”, y se efectuó un análisis de la susceptibilidad de estos gérmenes frente a un grupo de antimicrobianos. De las muestras procesadas se obtuvieron un total de 177 casos positivos y un crecimiento bacteriano de 8 géneros bacterianos, siendo los más frecuentes Escherichia coli y Estafilococo aureus, detectando una presencia significativa de enterobacterias y bacilos no fermentadores. La Penicilina y sus derivados presentaron elevados niveles de resistencia ante la totalidad de las cepas aisladas, con valores superiores al 60%. Las cefalosporinas es otro grupo de antibióticos cuya sensibilidad se encuentra disminuida y con la cual debemos tener cuidado en su uso. Es significativo la presencia de cepas de Pseudomona sp. ,resistentes a Ceftazidima.
