Algunas características de los pacientes con enfermedades cerebrovasculares al año del egreso hospitalario.
Abstract
Las enfermedades cerebrovasculares constituyen la tercera causa de muerte en nuestro país , siendo alarmante que aproximadamente el cincuenta porciento de los que sobreviven quedan con secuelas para el resto de sus vidas. En el presente estudio se exponen los resultados alcanzados en una consulta especializada para el seguimiento de estos pacientes. Los mismos fueron encuestados un año después del egreso hospitalario encontrándose que el 56,5% de los mismos no presentaban ningún tipo de discapacidad y un 65,2% se había incorporado a sus actividades habituales.
