Tratamiento no operatorio de los traumatismos esplénicos.
Abstract
Revisamos las historias clínicas de 83 pacientes que fueron atendidos por traumatismos esplénicos en nuestro hospital en el período comprendido entre enero de 1996 a septiembre del 2002, de esta cifra fueron seleccionados 9 pacientes, ya que otros 2 fueron eliminados por no reunir los requisitos previos para el tratamiento no operativo de los casos. Nuestros enfermos se trataban pacientes entre la tercera y cuarta década de la vida; el 77,8% eran masculino y el resto femenino. Dos pacientes presentaron lesiones de importancia uno fracturas costales y otro de tibia, siendo los mismos a los cuales se le practicó transfusiones sanguíneas. El dolor prevaleció en la clínica de los enfermos mientras que la ecografía abdominal, confirmó el diagnóstico de todos los casos. La evolución de la serie fue muy favorable, lográndose el alta entre los 15 y 25 días.
