Quiste congénito libre en cámara anterior. Presentación de un caso
Abstract
Se describe un caso infrecuente, no descrito en la literatura revisada, de un paciente de 32 años de edad, sexo masculino, raza blanca, que acudió al Cuerpo de Guardia de Oftalmología del Hospital Provincial General Docente “Dr. Antonio Luaces Iraola” por percatarse, al mirarse al espejo, de la presencia de “una bolita flotando dentro de su ojo derecho”. Al interrogatorio no se recogió el antecedente de trauma o inflamación ocular, ni síntomas acompañantes. Al examen físico ocular se constató la presencia de una tumoración de aspecto quístico libre en cámara anterior del ojo derecho. Se realiza el diagnóstico presuntivo de Quiste de Iris Libre en Cámara Anterior y se interconsulta con el servicio de Oftalmología del Hospital Provincial de Camagüey y con oftalmólogos de segmento anterior del Instituto Oftalmológico “Ramón Pando Ferrer”, de Ciudad de la Habana, donde se verifica lo antes planteado. Se ha llevado un seguimiento anual del caso por un período de 10 años, manteniéndose el cuadro clínico sin variaciones.
