Cicatrización por segunda intención en pacientes con osteomielitis crónica

Abstract

Se presenta una serie de 24 pacientes con diagnóstico de Osteomielitis Crónica a los cuales se les realizó tratamiento quirúrgico combinado con antibióticoterapia y finalmente se obtuvo la curación mediante el proceso de cicatrización por segunda intención. Se estudiaron variables como edad, sexo, gérmenes más frecuentes y tiempo de cicatrización. El mayor número de pacientes se presentó en el sexo masculino con un tiempo máximo de cicatrización de seis semanas en la mayoría de los casos
