Desafíos bioéticos en la atención al recién nacido
Abstract
El nacimiento de un niño es motivo de alegría en la inmensa mayoría de las familias, concentrándose la mayor atención en este suceso, de ahí que cualquier alteración que entorpezca el normal desarrollo del mismo ocasiona gran ansiedad en las personas más allegadas al niño. El manejo de los recién nacidos gravemente enfermos con posibilidades de morir, la muerte del neonato o la información a la familia de la existencia de una malformación congénita que pone en peligro la vida, o de aquellas que sin llegar a ello, provocan cambios estructurales visibles constituye un reto para el neonatólogo. Con el objetivo de abordar los principales problemas bioéticos a que se enfrenta el personal de la salud encargado de la atención al recién nacido, hemos realizado una revisión bibliográfica, teniendo en cuenta los autores más relevantes que se han dedicado al estudio del temaDownloads
