Estudio de algunas variables imagenológicas y su relación con la mortalidad en pacientes con hemorragia intracerebral

Abstract

Las hemorragias intracerebrales representan aproximadamente un 20% del total de las enfermedades cerebrovasculares con una mortalidad a los treinta días cercana al 50%. En el presente estudio descriptivo exponemos el comportamiento de algunas variables imagenológicas con respecto a la mortalidad a los treinta días en una serie de 22 pacientes ingresados en el hospital “Capitán Roberto Rodríguez Fernández” en el periodo comprendido de Marzo a Noviembre de 2006. Las variables que más se relacionaron con la mortalidad de nuestros pacientes a los treinta días de iniciado los síntomas fueron la extensión intraventricular de la hemorragia, la desviación de las estructuras de la línea media y la localización de la hemorragia a nivel de capsula interna
