Abstract
Los niños poseen características anatómicas y funcionales de la vía aérea que los diferencian de los adultos. Estas diferencias son suficientes para provocar dificultades en la intubación y su conocimiento nos permite desarrollar estrategias racionales para su manejo en el niño normal o con enfermedades asociadas.
