Intervención educativa sobre conocimientos del uso de los anticonceptivos.

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio pre experimental de intervención del tipo antes y después a los jóvenes de la carrera  de Tecnologías de la Salud del municipio de Morón en el período comprendido entre septiembre del año 2006 a septiembre del año 2007 con el objetivo de elevar el nivel de conocimiento sobre el uso de los métodos anticonceptivos. El universo del estudio estuvo constituido por 256 estudiantes de primer año de las Tecnologías de la Salud. Se aplicó una encuesta al inicio de la investigación obteniéndose un diagnóstico previo donde se detectaron las necesidades educativas sobre el tema y se implementó la intervención educativa. Se evaluó el impacto final de la misma, los datos se recogieron y determinaron según la clasificación de las variables. Al distribuir los estudiantes encuestados  al inicio del estudio sobre  el nivel de información que poseían acerca del uso de los anticonceptivos, se encontró que el 53.5% obtuvo evaluaciones de mal seguido por la categoría de regular con un 31.6%. La intervención educativa basada en actividades teóricas y prácticas y apoyada por medios de enseñanzas elevó el nivel de conocimiento sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en los  jóvenes.
