Comportamiento hemodinámico de la anestesia total intravenosa con propofol en cirugía de tumores intracraneales
Abstract
Introducción: Dentro de las afecciones neuroquirúrgicas, los tumores cerebrales conforman un grupo muy peculiar y constituyen un reto para el anestesiólogo. Objetivos: Precisar la conducta anestésica en pacientes con tumores intracraneales supratentoriales y el comportamiento perioperatorio de las variables hemodinámicas, las complicaciones perioperatoria así como correlacionar las complicaciones aparecidas con la edad de los pacientes. Método: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, con 39 pacientes intervenidos quirúrgicamente de tumores intracraneales supratentoriales, en el Hospital “Capitán Roberto Rodríguez Fernández” de Morón, durante el periodo enero 2009-diciembre 2010. Se les aplicó anestesia total intravenosa con Propofol. Todos mayores de 18 años, con estado físico ASA II, III y escala de Glasgow superior a 8 puntos. La inducción y el mantenimiento se realizaron con propofol, fentanilo y vecuronio, oxígeno y aire comprimido. El comportamiento de los bioparámetros se monitorizó en cuatro tiempos. Resultados: Se encontró estabilidad en los parámetros monitorizados. La complicación más frecuente fue la alcalosis respiratoria. No se identificaron complicaciones relacionadas con el propopfol, ni se encontró correlación entre las complicaciones aparecidas y la edad de los pacientesDownloads
