Intervención educativa aplicada a madres adolescentes para prolongar la lactancia materna hasta el primer año.
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio experimental de intervención con pre y post prueba sobre los conocimientos de la lactancia materna que poseían las embarazadas adolescentes atendidas en el Policlínico Comunitario Docente “Antonio Maceo” del municipio de Ciego de Ávila, independientemente del tiempo de gestación. Como objetivo se propuso determinar la utilidad de una intervención educativa para elevar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la lactancia materna y evaluar su prolongación hasta el primer año de vida. El universo estuvo constituido por las 34 embarazadas adolescentes de esta área, las cuales se distribuyeron en dos grupos: uno control compuesto por 17 y otro experimental igualmente de 17, seleccionadas por asignación aleatoria. A cada grupo se le aplicó un cuestionario de pre prueba, luego se realizó la intervención educativa al grupo experimental, donde se les ofreció los temas actualizados de forma sencilla según los objetivos deficientes y por último se le aplicó a ambos grupos el instrumento de pos prueba al año de nacido el bebé. Se observó que en el grupo experimental mejoraron los conocimientos y se prolongó la lactancia materna de manera significativa con respecto al grupo control, lo que demuestra la utilidad del programa de intervención educativa llevado a caboDownloads
