Violencia intrafamiliar desde un enfoque de género

Abstract

La violencia intrafamiliar es toda acción cometida en el seno de la familia por uno o varios de sus miembros que ocasione daño físico, psicológico o sexual a otros de sus miembros y que cause un serio daño a su personalidad y/o a la estabilidad familiar. Este fenómeno constituye un problema de salud que en ocasiones se percibe, pero no se tiene un conocimiento de cómo diagnosticar y tratar. Es por ello que se efectuó una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de confeccionar un material de consulta sobre la violencia intrafamiliar desde un enfoque de género para lo cual se realizó una aproximación a la evolución histórica de la familia así como de la violencia, se compilaron las diferentes definiciones de autores que han estudiado el tema además de efectuar un análisis integrador del tema. Para ello se utilizaron diferentes bases de datos disponibles en Infomed como PubMed y LILACS, además de diferentes publicaciones de editoriales nacionales y extranjeras. La violencia intrafamiliar es un tema en el que es necesario incidir con el objetivo de que no se aprenda a vivir con ella, sino a percibirla como un fenómeno controlable y transformable, para poder ser abordada por diferentes autores sociales de la comunidad
