Altitude sickness in Cuban collaborators who provide services in the Bolivian Altiplano
Abstract
Altitude exposure generates body reactions that depend on factors such as genetics, age, individual Physiology, ascent rate, altitude of overnight, the nutrition and hydration customs among others. However, the presence of unpleasant and disabling symptoms created by the height on the health impact not always are known.
That is why education in relation to the physiology of the height and the interpretation of sensations carried by the individual are key elements to achieve the destiny of the collaborator work positioning.
