Efectividad del tratamiento con jarabe de Aloe Vera en la enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica del adulto mayor
Abstract
En el periodo comprendido entre noviembre de 2011 y abril de 2012 se realizó un estudio experimental en el área centro de la provincia de Ciego de Ávila con el objetivo de determinar la efectividad del tratamiento con jarabe de Aloe Vera en adultos mayores con enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica. El equipo de trabajo tomó una muestra intencional de 40 pacientes a partir de la población total de los portadores de la enfermedad en el escenario definido, se encontró que el jarabe de Aloe vera al 50% es efectivo y seguro como tratamiento complementario en la enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica del adulto mayor, no se observó reacciones adversas por el uso de este producto natural.Downloads
