Eficacia de los fangos medicinales en el tratamiento de la osteoartrosis de rodilla.

Abstract

Se realizó un pre-experimento para comparar la eficacia de los tratamientos basados en la aplicación del fango sulfurado sanadin y fármacos a 110 pacientes con edades comprendidas entre 30 y 60 años que padecían de artrosis de rodilla al evaluar inicialmente los resultados en un período de seis meses y se realizó un corte evaluativo entre los días cinco y diez del tratamiento, por parte de especialistas de ortopedia del policlínico Sur de Morón y por los autores de la investigación a través de la aplicación de test muscular y articular. Se pudo comprobar que el tratamiento de fangoterapia resultó ser más eficaz que el medicamentoso pues logró la recuperación en menor tiempo, presentó menos reacciones adversas y como ventajas la utilización de fuentes naturales que ofrecen menos costo de tratamiento. El alivio de los síntomas en general se logró entre la 1ra y 6ta sesión del tratamiento, mientras que la desaparición se logró entre la sexta y novena sesión del tratamiento
