Acupuntura en el tratamiento de la crisis aguda de asma bronquial en pacientes adultos
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio retrolectivo de los expedientes clínicos de 33 pacientes, de ellos 20 del sexo masculino y 13 del femenino, cuyas edades oscilan entre 15 y 43 años, siendo portadores de crisis agudas de asma bronquial. Los pacientes fueron atendidos en el centro Provincial de Referencia de Medicina Tradicional en el período comprendido entre septiembre de 1996 y septiembre de 1998. Al concluir el tratamiento se observó que el 72,7% de los pacientes fueron evaluados de bien, el 15% de regular y un 12,3% no sufrió prácticamente evolución en sus parámetros clínicos y espirométricos medidos en el estudio. Se pudo constatar que los pacientes con evolución favorable fueron aquellos con un menor tiempo de aparición de la crisis y un menor grado de severidad del asma bronquial.Downloads
