Comportamiento de la inmunidad humoral en niños adenoamigdalectomizados

Abstract

Se realiza un estudio descriptivo, longitudinal, prospectivo a 103 pacientes atendidos durante un año en la consulta de Otorrinolaringología del Hospital Provincial Docente Antonio Luaces Iraola con diagnóstico de adenoamigdalitis crónica. El objetivo de nuestro trabajo fue conocer el comportamiento de la inmunidad humoral antes y después del acto quirúrgico. Fueron seleccionados los niños que no presentaran ninguna enfermedad asociada que pudiera causar un déficit inmunológico. Se les realizó a todos Test de cuantificación de inmunoglobulinas antes y 6 meses después del acto quirúrgico. No se encontró déficit de la inmunidad humoral luego de operados los pacientes.
