Meralgia parestésica durante el embarazo. A propósito de un caso
Abstract
La compresión del nervio femorocutáneo da lugar a parestesias desagradables y a afectación sensorial en su distribución cutánea, entidad conocida como Meralgia Parestésica (meros = muslo, algia = dolor). Se presenta un caso de una paciente de 31 años de edad con embarazo de 32 semanas que consulta por entumecimiento y aumento de la sensibilidad de la piel al roce de la ropa, así como dolor localizado en la cara externa del muslo derecho. Se realizan estudios de conducción nerviosa periférica y electromiografía de aguja, planteándose el diagnóstico de meralgia parestésica. No se impone tratamiento específico. Se reevalúa 4 semanas después del parto, no encontrándose alteraciones clínicas ni electrofisiológicas. Palabras claves: Estudios de conduccion nerviosa, electromiografia, embarazo.Downloads
