Abstract

En el presente trabajo se hace una pequeña revisión en los principios de la bioética desde su irrupción en el mundo desde que Potter comenzó a hablar de ella en 1970. Hacemos un análisis de como se comportan la autonomía y el consentimiento informado en el programa de control de enfermedades de trasmisión sexual (ETS) en Cuba, vemos como en él predominan los principios de beneficiencia y justicia y como debemos trabajar los médicos cubanos en la incorporación del principio de la autonomía y como debemos manejar el consentimiento informado, acorde a nuestra realidad y características nacionales
