Tratamiento quirúrgico mínimamente invasivo de la acalasia. Reporte del primer caso realizado en la provincia de Ciego de Ávila
Abstract
La acalasia es un raro trastorno de la motilidad esofágica de causa desconocida que produce una incapacidad para el vaciamiento esofágico y para el paso de los alimentos desde este órgano hacia el estómago traduciéndose clínicamente por disfagia funcional y episodios de neumonitis por aspiración del contenido esofágico. Esta enfermedad es tratada con métodos farmacológicos y no farmacológicos dentro de los cuales se encuentra la cirugía que es la variante terapéutica que mejores resultados exhibe.
